Shopp Nonclinical Consulting LLC is a private consulting firm that provides assistance to clients in the nonclinical discovery and development of small molecule and biological therapeutics.  Services include all aspects of nonclinical drug development from lead discovery to IND and marketing applications. 

Dr. George Shopp (Principal) has 28 years experience in the fields of toxicology, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics/ADME and drug development.  This includes toxicology contract research organizations, grant and contract funded basic and applied toxicology research, and industrial drug research and development.

Therapeutic areas of experience include:  Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, pain, migraine, oncology, diabetes, epilepsy, stroke, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and sepsis. 

Drug classes include: small molecule receptor inhibitors, enzyme inhibitors, and ion channel blockers; anti-angiogenesis factors, growth factors, monoclonal antibodies, proteins, and polyethylene glycol conjugated molecules.
